Lenny Gomulka & The Chicago Push Band return to Owosso, Michigan to play both days of OKT2019!
Ein Prosit RETURNS: Saturday, Oktober 12th from 11 am to 3:00 p.m., we welcome Ein Prosit to the Armory Lawn for a free outdoor concert! Ein Prosit, “the band that only plays happy music”, is a group of musicians from MI, IN and IL who enjoy playing and entertaining with a variety of German, Austrian and Bavarian “Oktoberfest” style folk music! The band was founded in 2002 and currently has a roster of 60+ musicians, usually playing with a band of 35.
Ein Prosit’s active schedule includes festivals, private parties and community events throughout the year. Members of the band dress in traditional German trachten and strive to preserve the rich German musical heritage! The bands’ repertoire includes polkas, waltzes, sectional features, solos, audience participation pieces and sing-alongs; entertainment for the entire family!
The band has the traditional German “Festival Band” instrumentation and also includes accordion and cowbells. A very special feature of the group is their 10 member Alphorn Section, Alphorngrupppe “Alpentraum” who are featured at all Ein Prosit events.
